Barbara Gale (Snider) Raether passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at her home in Mound City, Missouri, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Barbara was born May 24, 1954, at Fairfax, Missouri, to Mary Marie (Sipes) Cardwell. She was adopted as a newborn by Paul and Alpha Snider. Barbara graduated from Fairfax High School.
She was married to Charles Raether at Maysville, Missouri, on December 10, 1990.
Barbara was a member of the Church of God in Craig, Missouri ,then later was baptized and became a member of the First Christian Church in Mound City.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Paul and Alpha Snider; aunt, Shirley Lundry; a cousin, Sharon Lundry; grandparents, Jasper and Nora Kirk; and a special friend, C.W. Radley. She is survived by cousins and an uncle.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 28, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Mound City. Interment was at English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax. Care entrusted to Chamberlain Funeral Home, Rock Port.
