Ramona Lea (Gubser) German
On October 13, 1953, Ramona was united in marriage to Russ German in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They became the parents of four children, Rusty, Cindy, Shelli and Judi. They made their home in the Omaha and Lake of the Ozarks (Sunrise Beach) areas. They later divorced. In 2003, Ramona moved to Fairfax until making the move to Rock Port, Missouri, in 2007, where she lived until the present time. Ramona passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her home in Rock Port at the age of 77.
Ramona was employed by Northwestern Bell for twenty years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Grace Church, Rock Port.
Besides her parents and former husband, Russ, Ramona was preceded in death by, infant son, Rusty; brother, George Gubser; mother and father-in-law, Frank and Lucille German; and brothers-in-law, Eldon Porter and Clyde Fletchall. Survivors include, daughters, Cindy German, Tarkio, Missouri, Shelli German and friend, John Scott, Omaha, Nebraska, Judi Salsbury and husband, Bob, Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Colin, Aaron Cervantes, Zach (Julie), Bobby, Jacob, Ryan, Raegan, Evan and Ian Salsbury; two great-grandchildren, Bailee and Davie; sisters, Phyllis Fletchall, Hutchison, Kansas, Maxine Porter, Rock Port and Janice Pierce and husband, Marion, Fairfax; brothers, Raymond Gubser, and wife, Jeanine, Rogers, Arkansas and David Gubser and wife, Marge, Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ramona Lea (Gubser) German, the daughter of Benjamin Frederick and Faye Evelyn (Fischer) Gubser, was born on November 18, 1933, in Fairfax, Missouri. Ramona attended Prairie Flower Country School and Fairfax High School, graduating in 1951.
