FAIRFAX, Mo. - S. Gilbert Johnson, 82, Fairfax, died Dec. 23, 2008, at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.
Mr. Johnson was a retired welder and farmer.
Survivors: wife, Virginia, Tarkio, Mo.; son Sam and wife Sharon, Edmond, Okla.; daughter Jane Conrad and husband Ron, Fairfax; brother Dean Johnson, Mound City, Mo.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, Fairfax Baptist Church. Burial: English Grove Cemetery near Fairfax. There will be no visitation at the funeral home; however, the family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Memorials: Fairfax Baptist Church or Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department.
