Clarence "Tiny" E. Porter
On February 10, 1951, Tiny was united in marriage to Lois Maxine Gubser in Fairfax, Missouri. They made their home in Omaha, Nebraska where they raised their five children. Tiny was an iron worker for the International Bridge and Iron Workers Union, helping construct the power plants at Brownville, Nebraska and Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, the Mormon bridge in North Omaha, the Paseo Bridge in Kansas City, Missouri and many more projects throughout the Midwest. Tiny retired in 1978 due to health problems.
Tiny was a member of the Iron Workers Local 21, Omaha; and a former Eagles member. He was an avid outdoorsman and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Tiny passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha at the age of 81 years.
Besides his parents, Tiny is preceded in death by one son, Danny Porter; granddaughter, Deanna Porter; one sister and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Maxine of the home in Rock Port, Missouri; one daughter, Diane Watson, Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, Denny Porter and his wife Emily, Rock Port, Dwaine Porter and his wife Wendy, Bellevue, Nebraska and Dwight Porter, Omaha; numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services: 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
Interment: English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax, Missouri.
Visitation: 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Clarence (Tiny) Porter Memorial Fund.
Services are under the direction of Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.

Clarence Eldon (Tiny) Porter, the son of Harry Emerson and Denny Ethel (Welling) Porter, was born September 6, 1927 in Ashland, Nebraska. He attended schools in Falls City, Nebraska and Prescott, Iowa.
