FAIRFAX, Mo. Melvin L. Strough, 87, Fairfax, died on his farm August 7, 2017.
Mr Strough was a lifelong farmer and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors: wife, Joyce, of the home; daughters, Gail Stoner, St.Joseph, Tauni (Sheldon) Saxton, Maryville, Missouri, Tayne (Tyler) Fast, Burlington Junction, Missouri; two grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Strough is also survived by a sister, Faye Money, Maryville.
Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Saturday, August 12, Fairfax Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until service time on Saturday, at the church.
Graveside Service and inurnment: 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, English Grove Cemetery, near Fairfax, with full Military honors.
